Clayette Modelling Clay
Chavant Clayette: ?is a new sulphur free sculpting clay developed by Chavant to non-hardening, odour-free and flexible without being sticky. Clayette is a softer and less sticky alternative to the standard range of Chavant NSP clay that will not oxidise and can be left uncovered, heated and cooled repeatedly without any significant change in the product and will perform excellently when using silicone rubber to take a mould.
Clayette is designed to be worked by hand at room temperature but can be warmed to soften it further, it?can be smoothed and tool marks removed using small amounts of citrus based solvents?or (taking adequate precautions) lighter fluid, latex paint removers, turpentine or mineral spirits.
Only currently available in a soft grade or medium grade which is similar in hardness to Chavant NSP soft and Supplied in 907g (2lb) sealed blocks. Colour: off / white.
