Green Casting Wax
A high quality casting wax for use in lost wax casting.
This wax is fairly firm and so is suitable for carving, modelling with wax modelling tools, pouring and painting into moulds, and casting in the Centricast Machine.
The wax casts easily, withstands handeling when cold without cracking, and burns out cleanly.
To make a hand modelling wax Tiranti recommend mixing Green Casting Wax with Type B Wax, in yellow or brown, when added in a 50/50 mix it will produce an 80% increase in hardness of the Type B.
Microcrystalline based.
Melting point 63c-66c.
