Multi-Purpose Resin
Multi-purpose Resin a replacement of the GP Resin we stocked previously. It is Low Styrene Emission which means that there is much less smell, and no stickiness even on very thin sections.
Our Multi - purpose Resin is suitable for:
- Casting large blocks up to 5 kg
- Casting with all types of filler - metal, stone, etc.
- laminating glass fibre.
- surface coating with bronze powders and metal fillers to casting wafer thin sections without stickiness.
This resin is approved by the LLoyds register for shipping for use in the construction of boats moulding under their survey
our multi -purpose resin is also suitable for casting centrifugally on Centricast Machines using silicone moulds.
Using our standard catalyst at 2% Gel Time is 16 - 20 minutes.
Please note our polyester resins have a shelf life of 3 months from date of purchase, we cannot garuntee the product will cure if used after this time period.
the ratio of catalyst to resin should be calculated based on weight to get the correct cure. This product is NOT supplied with liquid hardener ( Catalyst ). If you require this, please insure it is included with this order as the shipping cost of this alone can be very high. Product code for 50gm is 405-810.
